The latest episode of Neeya Naana featured extravagant expenditure in weddings. I would support the group which was speaking for the extravagant expenses.
I don't understand that why would Neeya Naana always takes up one's personal choice as a social issue. First of all, What is an extravagant expense in wedding? Who determines that? What is their capacity to determine? You can call something is costly only when you know the acceptable standard price and that's an individual priority. Most of the people who spoke against making extravagant weddings were all victims of expenditure at sometime or the other. If they wouldn't have been victims, they would have spoken from the other side. I feel that marriage is opportunity to express your hospitality, forget differences, give and take gifts. Its a wonderful feeling. I don't see anything wrong in anyone shelling few extra pennies. Yes, I do agree that one should know their limits but its up to them to find the limit.
Marriages are made in heaven but it still happens on earth. Lets make the gods to come to our wedding that's my motto.
